Great Tails Animal Rescue wants to thank all of our supporters, fosters, and volunteers for their efforts in getting our foster animals to appointments, meet and greets, and adoptions. We are 100% volunteer based and reliant on our fosters and volunteers. If you are interested in adopting one of our animals in foster care please fill out an adoption application. Once we have a completed adoption application, we coordinate with our board, the foster home, and the potential adoptive home to schedule a meet and greet at our office. Because we are foster based, we have to coordinate many schedules: transportation, jobs, appointments, availability of volunteers, etc.

**Please note that we require you to provide 2 non-related references for us to contact prior to your adoption of an animal. We encourage you to contact your references ahead of time to let them know they will be contacted by a member of our adoption team. This will assist us in more efficiently processing your application.

Our number one priority is the health and safety of our pets. Therefore, Great Tails Animal Rescue reserves the right to deny individuals with a criminal, drug, abuse, or child endangerment background. Those with criminal history outside of this scope will be reviewed by the board on a case by case basis.

Renters- For Applicants that rent: for great tails to start processing your adoption application, we must first have a signed landlord consent form. This protects animals in our care from being returned due to not having permission to have an animal in a rental. Some rentals also have species, breed, and size restrictions.
