Great Tails Animal Rescue is dedicated to providing temporary shelter and veterinary care for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals of Itasca County, Minnesota and surrounding areas, with the purpose of finding loving, permanent homes.
Our goal is to advocate for domestic animals in our community by promoting spaying and neutering, providing education and resources, encouraging essential veterinary care, and finding loving, permanent homes for these animals.
Building Updates
A permanent building is a sustainable solution for animal rescue care in the area, allowing us to prioritize pet health and safety with stronger, more consistent measures and to care for animals who need immediate shelter. This space will work hand in hand with our foster network, which remains a vital part of our lifesaving efforts. Together, the building and our foster families allow us to help more animals, support the community through education and resources, and create jobs that strengthen local animal welfare.
